WP8: Creating a Sustainable, Inclusive and Resilient Campus
WP8 focuses on consolidating a common EMERGE campus through the creation of physical hubs that embody the alliance within each institution.
Objectives
- To create a common EMERGE campus identity by transforming campuses and campus life (studying, working and living) to function as sustainable, inclusive, resilient and socially engaged environments.
- To drive institutional change aimed at aligning campus practices and campus life with our core values of sustainability,inclusion and resilience through lived experiences.
- To establish a physical space that embodies the alliance within each EMERGE institution, thereby serving as a representative hub for the EMERGE campus.
- To increase the number of students and staff involved in initiatives to do with sustainability, inclusivity and building resilience and addressing existing barriers to participation and inclusion.
- To foster awareness, comprehension, and collaboration among EMERGE stakeholders and communities on the subjects of sustainability, inclusion, and resilience.
Tasks
- Establish EMERGE physical hubs at each institution as vibrant embodiments of the alliance.
- Create an EMERGE identity through the branding of EMERGE activities and the design and implementation of new EMERGE activities, all of which promote and represent values of inclusion, resilience and sustainability.
- Infuse the EMERGE identity through the execution of immersive events and activities in collaboration with WP2, WP7 and WP9.
- Improving student experience at home and abroad.
- Build an EMERGE balanced scorecard for sustainability, resilience and inclusion as part of the impact evaluation of the alliance.
