EMERGE DUTH successfully participated in the 34th International Congress on Physical Education and Sport Science DPESS-DUTH through the organization of a Round Table Discussion entitled:
“Exploring Community Engagement in Physical Education and Sport Science: Sharing Best Practices within EMERGE.”
The event brought together academics, researchers, students and members of the educational community in an inspiring exchange of ideas, experiences and best practices related to community engagement in physical education and sport science.
During the discussion, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the vision and objectives of the EMERGE Alliance, while special emphasis was given to the presentation of emblematic community engagement initiatives implemented by the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science of the Democritus University of Thrace.
The round table concluded with a lively and interactive discussion with the audience, which demonstrated remarkable interest in both the EMERGE Alliance and the role of community engagement in modern higher education. The active participation and exchange of perspectives highlighted the importance of collaboration, inclusion and social impact within the European University ecosystem.
