My doctoral thesis is a qualitative analysis on the Spanish system of prevention of money laundering, focusing specifically on the dynamics of adaptation to the imminent implementation of the new European Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA). I investigate key actors’ perceptions, coordination challenges and the fit of the new European financial governance architecture.
