Do you want to share your experience studying at the Democritus University of Thrace, support secondary school students in their transition to higher education and their choice of studies and career and strengthen your resume?
Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) as a member of the European University Alliance EMERGE invites undergraduate and postgraduate students to apply as Contact Points, for the academic year 2026–2027.
Being a Contact Point, you will have the chance to:
- act as a communication bridge between the University and the school community, supporting Secondary Education students in their transition to Tertiary Education.
- Share your experiences and inform students about studies and student life.
- Collaborate with the University’s support structures.
- Develop valuable personal and professional skills.
Ways of participation: You can participate in two ways; you choose, one or both!
- Shape the action
You can make a difference by sharing your experiences, opinions and suggestions by completing the questionnaire:

Support secondary school students in their transition to tertiary education, acting as a communication bridge between the University and the school community.

Being a Contact Point and participating in the activities with the secondary school students you get the Contact Point Budge and Contact Point Certificate that will make a difference to your resume.
