- This year, the EMERGE European University Alliance will launch the first annual Joint Research Call, involving the EMERGE partner institutions participating in the 2026 call.
The EMERGE Joint Research Call for 2026 will open on 15 September 2026 and will be open to researchers and academics holding a PhD, as well as early-stage researchers and PhD students. Particular emphasis will be placed on the following four EMERGE Thematic Clusters:
- Inclusion and Solidarity
- Sustainability and Digital Transition
- Resilience and Wellbeing
- Plurilingualism and Multiculturalism
