About the session

This webinar is the first of a 4-series dedicated to engaged research in 2026. It is aimed at training researchers and providing them with resources with a view to building bridges with local communities and address societal challenges.

It is organised in connection with the Université Bretagne Sud international week. Speakers from across the EMERGE alliance, working with local communities, will share research perspectives and practical experiences linked to community-engaged research.

  • Dr. Michelle O’Donoghue, ARISE – Activity and Recreation in an Inclusive Sensory Environment
  • Dr. Pierre Sauleau, 20 000 eyes under the sea (marine biology with local divers and researchers)
