WP7: Connecting Campuses and Communities through Language and Culture
WP7 aims to showcase, connect and empower the campuses and communities of the alliance through strengthening the intercultural and multilingual competencies of staff, students and local communities.
Objectives
- Celebrate, showcase and capitalise on the linguistic and cultural diversity across the EMERGE campus and local communities.
- Strengthen the intercultural and multilingual competencies of EMERGE staff, students, and local communities, to facilitate physical mobility and enhance Internationalisation.
- Foster a sense of belonging to the EMERGE alliance.
- Promote European citizenship and values across the EMERGE alliance and within our local communities.
Tasks
- Develop and implement a dynamic EMERGE plurilingual language policy.
- Strengthen language diversity and intercultural skills across the EMERGE campuses and communities.
- Level up English language communication skills for all staff across the Alliance to enable full accessibility and engagement with EMERGE activities and projects.
- Celebrate and showcase linguistic and cultural diversity through a common cultural programme and dedicated events.
WP7 is lead by Université Rennes 2 (UR2).
